Dive into the reef
One of the reasons people are drawn to reef tanks, is the color palette that can be found in its various species of coral. Corals come in different shapes, sizes, textures, and colors and exhibit different patterns of growth, from branching sticks to inflated fleshy polyps. With species coming from different locations around the world, corals are a way to help people connect with the oceans of the world in the comforts of their own homes. From Anemones and Soft corals to SPS (Small Polyp Stony), LPS (Large Polyp Stony), and even NPS (Non Photosynthetic) there is something for everyone from beginners all the way to the expert hobbyist. Some corals require careful attention, and will react to minute changes in water chemistry while others can survive in almost any conditions. Creating the right balance of lighting, flow, space, and feeding is not for everyone, but those who dip their toes in, often find themselves eager to learn and experience more that the world of aquarium corals has to offer.
